CenSolar was founded out of a personal need and a deep-seated belief that home solar solutions should be client-centric. As I was renovating my own home, I searched for a solar contractor but was met with frustrating and disappointing experiences. Every contractor seemed focused only on the sale, pushing overpriced, over-specified systems without taking the time to listen to my needs or ideas.

 

With over 35 years of experience in the IT industry, including seven years as a Chief Technology Officer for a major insurance company, I knew there was a better way. My background in technology and leadership has given me a unique perspective, teaching me invaluable skills in problem-solving, project management, and, most importantly, building trust with clients.

 

Our Approach to Solar Solutions

Fed up with the status quo, I decided to do it myself. I completed all the necessary Victron courses, attended in-person training, and dedicated countless hours to mastering solar solutions for homes and small businesses. I designed and installed my own system, learning every aspect of the process to ensure it met all industry requirements.
